Mothers Against War

Mothers Against War (安保関連法に反対するママの会) was founded in Kyoto in July 2015 to protest the security-related bills.

Although the bills were passed by the Diet in September of that year, the group continued its activities by making use of social media such as Facebook and Twitter. Its network expanded across Japan and even to Singapore (see the branch list on the association’s website).

Updates were observed until 2017, but the association’s website was later shut down (as of October 2021).
