The website of the Institute for World Government Japan (now closed as of 2025) was managed by Toshio Suzuki, a staff member of the Institute for World Government Japan Branch. The constitutional draft “The New Constitution of Japan,” published on the site under the signatures of Toshio Suzuki and the Institute for World Government Japan, was characterized by its stipulations that the Japanese people, as world citizens, shall engage in international policies for the establishment and maintenance of world democracy, and that the imperial system shall be abolished and replaced with a presidential system.
According to the website, the Institute for World Government had branches in various countries, including Japan, and conducted research activities aimed at preventing wars, realizing a universal international currency, and eradicating poverty through job creation, all through the establishment of a world federation. To support the world government movement, the Institute worked in coordination with the World Party (the action division) and the World Citizens Network (the civic and organizational network division), serving as the division in charge of discussion and theory.
